find your Stage and join us!

1) Select a Country:

2) Select a Route:

3) Choose a Stage:

How

It's very simple! First select a Country, then one of the Routes that cross it and finally a Stage. Then You will see all details of the Stage, photos and messages left by other cyclists. You can leave Yours and You can choose to adopt it. Enjoy Your ride and don't forget to let us know that You did it and send us a photo!

What

European Cycle Relay is a non-competitive relay race that will cross Europe through 15 Routes and 38 Country, divided in Stage of 70 km, traveling more than 70,000 km in total!

When

Whenever You want! Each year has a new edition which lasts one year and for each edition we will make a report to see where we stand in the relay. So You have a lot of time to do Your favorite Stage.

Who

Anyone! We believe that 70 km is a distance that everyone can do in a day. You can make a Stage alone, with Your friends or family or You can leave a message and join other cyclists interested in Your Stage.

Why

Because we love cycling. Because we believe in bicycle as a symbol of the values of sustainability. Because we believe that anyone can do 70 km cycling, even those who doesn't it often . Because we want to be part of a group without any kind of distinction that cross Europe, each one doing his own stage, bringing a message of brotherhood .

Where

The proposed Routes cross the whole of Europe, and are based on Eurovelo routes. For each Stage we have marked the start, finish and a hypothetical path. You can choose to do one or more Stages, consecutive or not. Feel free to do it all or in part , but above all choose the most confortable and safe road, and enjoy it!

Volunteers

That's who helped us. Without them we could not carry on this project. Thank you so much!

About Us

The European Cycle Relay project is a sports-socio-cultural event began in August 2014 to promote and raise awareness among European and non-European citizens towards the use of the bicycle as a sustainable means and to break down the existing socio-cultural barriers between states. The routes presented are the result of research based on the Eurovelo routes identified by the ECF (European Cyclists' Federation), but the individual stages have been prepared by our staff . The European Cycle Relay has received no funding and is a not-for-profit project.
